ZVISHAVANE – Plant FC shocked former Mimosa Mine Social Soccer League log leaders Estates FC with a 3-0 drubbing and dropped to fourth on the table.
The defeat was the second of the season in eight games. The former log leaders have 16 points from five wins and a draw.
Log leaders Boltrec maintained their winning streak as they made light work over Mine Planning with a 4-1thumping. They have 22 points, three ahead of second-placed Loss Control who won 1-0 over new boys FC Holding.
Champions MHL moved a few steps on the log table after seeing off Assets 1-0 and the result means that they are sixth on the table with 14 points from eight matches played.
Mining North registered their first win of the season after defeating Mine Machines 2-1 to sit 19th on the table.
Projects also registered their first win after beating Copper Kettle 2-0.
Another notable victory saw Mining South thump Transport 4-0 for their second win of the season.
29 goals were scored on Matchday 8 across all 10 matches.
