ZVISHAVANE – New boys HR Clusters FC succumbed to their fourth consecutive league defeat after falling 1-0 to Projects FC in the Mimosa Mine Social Soccer League.

The defeat saw them drop to 15th position after 11 rounds of fixtures in the league. They have 10 points from 11 games with three wins and a draw accompanied by seven defeats.

They are two points ahead of 17th-placed Assets FC who also fell 1-0 to Mobile Equipment FC and three points ahead of relegation-threatened Copper Kettle who were beaten 3-2 by log leaders Boltrec.

The win saw Boltrec FC take their lead at the summit to five points with 29 points from 11 matches while Plant FC on second position despite playing a one-all draw against Mine Machines FC. However, they still have a game in hand.

Third-placed Loss Control FC missed the chance to close the gap on pacesetters after a shock 1-0 by Supply Chain FC, they now trail log leaders by six points having played the same number of matches.

Champions MHL FC’s resurgence is on as they thumped Transport 4-0 to secure fourth place after a poor start to the season.

FC Holding is settling well in the league in fifth place after a 3-1 victory over bottom-placed Mine Planning who are still to register a win this season.

Things are looking dreadful for former early pace setters Estates FC as they were walloped 3-0 by Ventilation FC, sending them to 10th position on the log table with Ventilation moving to seventh.

25 goals were scored on Matchday 11 in the Mimosa Mine Social Soccer League.
