Pams Academy early pacesetters in Zvish Junior League

ZVISHAVANE – Brighton Pamhirwa owned Pam’s Academy is ruling the roost in the Zvishavane Junior League after two rounds of matches played, registering a 100% record.
They saw off another former Shabanie Mine FC player in Gerald Phiri’s Geras Academy by a solitary goal after they had beaten Shining stars 3-1 in their first of the season.
The league is meant to curb drug and substance abuse in the small mining town of Zvishavane as well promoting juniors to enhance their professional careers.
The league consists of nine teams which some of them are linked with primary schools such as Falcon Academy which is getting most of their players from Gresham Primary school.
Other matches saw Falcon Academy beating Ezinkulu Academy 4-1 to sit second on the log meanwhile Mambo Jephitar Foundation Academy is third after seeing off Shining Stars by a solitary goal.
