ZVISHAVANE – Noelvale Rovers FC emerged winners at the McAdams four-team soccer tournament in Zvishavane on Sunday.
The four teams that took part in the tournament are the eventual winners, Noelvale, MSU Zvishavane FC, TMZ FC and Kufarazvedu FC.
TMZ FC played hosts MSU Zvishavane FC in the opening match and booked their place in the finals after a 5-1 drubbing of the hosts.
IN another semi-final, Rovers played Kufarazvedu and drew 1-1 in regulation time and went on to win 5-4 on penalties to advance to the finals.
MSU FC redeemed themselves in the third and fourth play-off after beating Kufarazvedu by a solitary goal.
Noelvale got the better of TMZ in a breathtaking finale, winning 2-0 to clinch the title.
Rovers are the current log leaders and defending Champions in the Zvishavane Social Soccer League.
