nbs Glaudina Housing project takes shape

HARARE- Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, July Moyo has officiated the construction of two blocks of flats at the nbs Glaudina housing project in Harare.

The project is targeted to be completed by year-end, and will provide affordable accommodation to 64 families.

The two blocks of flats are part of a larger development that will see nine blocks being constructed, benefiting 224 families.

With the remaining blocks expected to be completed within two years.

Minister Moyo said the nbs housing project marks a significant step towards decent housing for all .

“This project is a testament to our commitment to ensuring that citizens access affordable and decent housing, a fundamental human right,” said Moyo.

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony,  National Social Security Authority (NSSA) board chairperson, Emmanuel Fundira said that the Glaudina project is a beacon of hope for many, adding that its completion will undoubtedly transform many lives.

“We are thrilled to be part of this initiative, which aligns with our mission to improve the lives of Zimbabweans. These flats will not only provide shelter but also a sense of community and belonging,” added Fundira.
