Masvingo Provincial Hospital Sister in Charge, Dorothy Manongore nee Sairos has died.

She was 65.
Her grandson, Emmanuel Anesu Mangwarira, confirmed that she died on March 27 at home, describing her as a pillar of strength and a shining example of the community.
“Gogo was a selfless and compassionate person who always put the needs of others before her own, she was a true servant of the Lord, and her death leaves a huge void in our lives. We will miss her dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with her Creator,” said Mangwarira.
Manongore dedicated her life to caring for the sick and the vulnerable at the only referral hospital in Masvingo Province.
Born into a devout Catholic family, Manongore’s faith was a guiding force in her life.
Sr Manongore’s nursing career spanned over two decades, during which she underwent rigorous training at various institutions, including Silveira Mission Hospital in 1984, Gweru Provincial Hospital in 1998, and upgraded at Mt. Selinda Mission Hospital later on.
Mourners are gathered in ZBS area, Mucheke.
