RUSAPE- In a move that has brought hope and joy to the children and staff of Ngonidzashe Children’s Home, Makoni Central legislator Patrick Sagandira has donated 100 broiler chicks and chicken feed to help establish a sustainable income-generating project, for the institution.
This thoughtful gesture is expected to provide a steady source of income and nutrition, empowering the home to become self-sufficient.
According to the legislature his wish is to help secure additional funding for the children’s home to ensure the initiative’s long-term viability.
The children and staff of Ngonidzashe Children’s Home were ecstatic about the opportunities the project will present.
Mama Rumbie, Director of Ngonidzashe Children’s Home, expressed her heartfelt gratitude, and promised that the project will thrive thanks to his involvement.
This selfless act by Sagandira serves as a shining example of leadership and community service, inspiring others to follow in his footsteps, she said.
