Rutendo Chirume
MASVINGO-Kadoma based mining magnet and Zanu PF member, Jameson Rushwaya (pictured below) has pledged to furnish the home of Ndarama High School teacher David Jani Masomere, popularly known as DJ Masomere, following his recent housewarming celebration in Masvingo City.

Rushwaya, who reportedly presented Masomere with US$5,000 in cash during the celebrations, also promised to provide furniture for the newly renovated house in the city’s upmarket Rhodene suburb last Saturday.
He further hinted at an additional surprise gift in connection with Masomere’s accident, although he declined to reveal its nature, saying doing so would spoil the surprise.
When contacted by The Midweek Watch News to establish when the furniture would be delivered and what the additional gift entailed, Rushwaya responded humorously.
“Kkkk… oooh yes Rutendo. I thought this is supposed to be a surprise! Now if I say it now, will that not be premature? Thank you for getting in touch though,” he said.
Rushwaya assured this publication that his wife would communicate further details regarding the surprise and its delivery.
The gestures come after Masomere received a residential property from the late cash rich Wicknell Chivayo, which he subsequently renovated to an upmarket two storey before hosting guests for a housewarming celebration.
While the US$5,000 cash gift has already been presented, the promised household furniture and additional surprise remain undisclosed, with their delivery dates yet to be confirmed.
