MASVINGO CITY-Masvingo Provincial Hospital, the province’s biggest referral center, welcomed 11 babies on New Year.
The little bundles of joy comprise of six boys and five girls.
Masvingo Provincial Hospital’s public relations officer, Sister Chioniso Gono in an interview with The Midweek Watch said the deliveries were a mix of both ceaserian section and normal deliveries, with three babies born via C-section and eight by natural birth.
“It was a busy day for our team, but everyone is doing great, we are thrilled to have had such a wonderful start to the new year, and we are grateful to the dedicated staff who worked tirelessly to ensure the safe delivery of these precious babies,” said Sister Gono.
The mothers, who are all recovering well, are thrilled to have their new additions by their side.
The hospital administration is hailing the new arrivals as a great start to the year, and is grateful for the dedication of the medical staff who worked through the New Year’s Day to ensure the safe delivery of the babies.
