Masvingo Catholic Diocese makes new appointments

The Catholic Diocese of Masvingo has made major appointments with effect from November 1, 2024.

A circular in the possession of The Midweek Watch signed by Bishop Raymond T. Mupandasekwa states that Very Rev. Fr. Emmanuel P. Jongwe, formerly Vicar General of Masvingo Diocese, has been appointed Finance Manager of the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ Conference.

Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. Oscar P. Chagweda takes over the role of Vicar General of Masvingo Diocese replacing Fr. Jongwe and Rev. Fr. Cleophas Magundani has been appointed Chancellor of Masvingo Diocese.

 “The appointments take effect from the 1st of November 2024,” reads the statement.

Bishop Mupandasekwa extended his best prayerful wishes to the appointed clergy, expressing his devotion in Jesus Christ.
