SPORTS REPORTER

MBERENGWA – ZIFA Midlands Province Division 2A league newbies and log leaders Jame West dropped points for the second week in a row after playing out to a goalless draw with fellow Mberengwa based Great Dyke FC.

The draw means that they are yet to defeat a Mberengwa based team after they drew one all against Mbesa FC last week.

They now have dropped four points in their last two encounters but are still at the summit of the table after 13 rounds of matches played.

Jame West FC came to the encounter as favorites but Great Dyke showed resolute character and denied them goal scoring opportunities in a tight contest of a football game.

Jame West FC now sit on 35 points with second placed Great Dyke on 27 points heading into the mid-season break.
