Ambitious ZIFA Eastern Region Soccer League side, FC Wangu Mazodze has appointed veteran coach, John Nyikadzino as the substantive gaffer coach for the upcoming season.
Nyikadzino had no club after his sacking at Sheasham FC who exited the Premier League last year.
The message from the club’s officials read “The above matter refers; lt is my pleasure to announce that today the Club Alternate Chairman, Mr Trevor Chateuka has completed the appointment of Mr Nyikadzino as the substantive Head Coach.
“Coach Nyikadzino has tons of experience and is a qualified CAF A seasoned football professional.
“We wish Coach Nyikadzino and the Zhalala Zhululu family the best of the 2024 Soccer Season”, it read.
Wangu Mazodze missed promotion last season under the tutelage of George Magariro to eventual winners Bikita Minerals FC, when they finished third on the log.
