MASVINGO- A hit-and-run accident occurred on July 9, around 8:30 pm, along the Mutare-Masvingo road, approximately 152km from Masvingo where an unidentified male adult, was fatally struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Masvingo Province Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhehwa confirmed that the deceased was wearing a black jacket, yellow jersey, and blue trousers at the time of the accident.
His body is currently at Silveira Mission Hospital mortuary, awaiting identification.
Dhewa said those who are missing a relative matching the description should come forward and identify the hit and run victim.
