MASVINGO-Reformed Church in Zimbabwe (RCZ) run Gutu High School continue to bask in glory as it performed well in the just released 2023 ZIMSEC O Level examinations.

Gutu High posted a 95,14% pass rate with 206 learners compared to the 93,7% obtained in 2022 exams with 172 students.

In the recently released O level results Gutu High recorded 196 pupils who passed with five or more subjects whilst only nine candidates failed to get 5 subjects and above.

The school had two best learners who obtained 12As and 96 of the candidates managed to pass English Language which is normally difficult.

Gutu High head Mirirai Mutanda told The Midweek Watch that the school achieved the good results through cooperation and hard work among stakeholders.

“Our pass rate has significantly increased from last year and from the results it is evident that our enrolment also went up.

“This means that our school is one of the most sought after and parents are impressed. The pass rate is dedicated to the hard work by both teachers and learners,” said Mutanda.
