Gogo ‘Madhuve’ Ncube mother to Midlands Minister of State dies

Gweru-Gogo Ncube (age not given) mother to the Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Affairs and Devolution Owen Mudha Ncube has died. Gogo Ncube died at Gweru Provincial Hospital today (Sunday).

In a communique which was seen by this publication, Gogo Ncube was reportedly admitted at Gweru Provincial Hospital where she was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

“Tine Hurombo kukuzivisai kuti Amai va Hon Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Midlands Province Cde Owen Mudha Ncube vashayika ku Gweru Hospital.” read part of the message posted in a Zanu PF whatsapp group without elaborating.

Meanwhile, condolence messages continue to pour in to the family as details regarding the funeral are yet to be made public.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Honourable Ncube and his entire family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the fond memories of their dear mother.

“Mrs. Ncube was an exemplary pillar of strength and dedication, having served as the Vice Chairwoman for Kwekwe Central District for an impressive 25 years. Her tireless efforts and selfless commitment to the community will be deeply missed.

“Mourners are gathered in Kwekwe, Chicago, to pay their last respects to this remarkable woman. We will provide updates on the burial arrangements in due course.

“May the soul of Mrs. Edith Ncube rest in eternal peace. May her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication continue to inspire us all,” read the Zanu PF Midlands Desk statement.
