In 2017 after Mnangagwa returned from SA to assume the position of President in his first speech, he promised to deal with corruption. Zimbabweans cheered up to the words.
Today even those in Zanu PF have come to accept that Mnangagwa’s regime has allegedly legalized corruption. Gold Mafia exposed Mnangagwa and first family as the alleged king and queen of gold smuggling in Zimbabwe.
Those close to Mnangagwa are the untouchables of corruption. The Vice President described Mnangagwa’s close corruption associates as ‘Zvigananda” A clear testimony that they all know that corruption is a cancer of the Zimbabwean economy.
Whilst Mugabe was surrounded by criminals, Mnangagwa is now surrounding the criminals as well. The criminals are safer than innocent opposition political party members. In a normal country one can’t be moving around dishing out $100 notes without being questioned about his source of wealth. Even the richest man in the world cannot be compared to Chivhayo’s car donation programme.
The biggest question is, if Mnangagwa failed to fulfill his promises on corruption, do I have to trust him on this constitutionalist nonsense? Mnangagwa indicates left whilst turning right.
Those who believe in the strategy stage managed interface with editors are naive. This is the Mnangagwa we must all know. He saw that war veterans have cornered him and had to find a strategic retreat position as he prepares an offensive surprise attack.
Mnangagwa was preaching to the converted. His press conference should have been first to the bootlickers. Mahiya, Garwe, Mavetera, Ziyambi Ziyambi, Chadzamira, Machakaire, Chivhayo, Tangwara, Masimirembwa, Mutodi, and others must be the first to be told to shut up on the ED2030 agenda. Mnangagwa allows them to chant ED2030 slogans in his presence, it means he is approving them.
Mnangagwa has tested the depth of the waters. He has realized he is trying to cross a flooded river. He has only retreated to find a boat to use to cross to the ED2030 agenda.
The people in Zanu PF and opposition are all in agreement that Mnangagwa must step down now. It is a waste of time for him to climb down from his ED2030 agenda because people want him out of office as of yesterday.
