KADOMA-Zimbabwe’s real estate sector has received a major international boost after Craft Properties Holdings and its founder and CEO, Professor Kudakwashe Taruberekera, secured an exclusive nomination for “World’s Greatest Brands & Leaders 2026” at House of Lords, Palace of Westminster in London, United Kingdom.
The honour will be presented during the 28th Asia-Africa-Europe Investor Forum 2026, to be hosted by AsiaOne Media on 20 November 2026.
The high-profile gathering will bring together heads of state, diplomats, investors and business leaders from more than 20 countries to celebrate organisations and individuals driving global economic progress.
Craft Properties Holdings has also been confirmed as an official delegate for CNN’s Global Perspectives in Bangkok, set for 14 October 2026 at Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok.
The platform will allow the Zimbabwean company to engage global policymakers, investors and business leaders on sustainable urban development, environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles and inclusive growth.
This latest milestone follows Craft Properties’ nomination for Associate Partner-Forum Member status at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos 2027 by Titan Strategies International.
That recognition highlighted the company’s work in sustainable urban development, affordable housing, alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and participation in international development initiatives.
The back to back nominations have placed Craft Properties among a select group of African real estate companies receiving recognition linked to the World Economic Forum, CNN International and UK Parliament within a four-month period.
At House of Lords, Professor Taruberekera is expected to contribute to AsiaOne Media’s special publication, The New Wealth Drivers of the World, take part in an exclusive investors’ roundtable featuring leaders from more than 20 countries and deliver a keynote address.
Speaking on the nominations, Professor Taruberekera said the recognition reflects Craft Properties Holdings’ commitment to development with dignity and its ambition to position Zimbabwe as a leader in sustainable urbanisation and inclusive growth.
“These recognitions reflect our commitment to development with dignity and our vision of positioning Zimbabwe as a leader in sustainable urbanisation and inclusive development,” said Professor Taruberekera.
Founded 18 years ago, Craft Properties Holdings has expanded across Southern Africa with operations in Namibia, Zambia and South Africa.
Craft Properties says its approach supports SDG-11 which promotes inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable cities while contributing towards Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 housing agenda.
As the company prepares for its participation on major global platforms, its achievements continue to highlight Zimbabwe’s growing role in real estate innovation, investment and sustainable city development.
The nominations represent not only corporate success but also a wider opportunity to showcase Zimbabwean enterprise and its contribution to solving global development challenges.
