Church of Christ’s Living Proof High in recruitment drive

CHIKOMBA-Newly established Church of Christ run Living Proof High School is set to hold entrance test for form 1 pupils on August 29 this year while form 3 learners are invited to apply as part of its recruitment drive.

Living Proof High School is located 25km from Chivhu Town along Gutu Road.

The elite boarding school which was officially opened in January this year has state of the art facilities like hostels, Science Lab, Dining room and classrooms. Currently, the school has a total of 104 students, 98 borders and 6 day scholars who are all doing form 1.

In an interview with The Midweek Watch, the headmaster, Ushe Paradza said the school will have form 3 classes next year as it aims to have their first public examinations in 2025. He also said they are planning to be a Cambridge examinations centre.

“We will recruit form 1 students on 29 August this year through entrance tests. We will also enroll form 3 students for next year and we are urging those learners to apply. We are aiming to have our first O level exams in 2025 and it’s most likely to be Cambridge,” said Paradza.

Eleven subjects are currently on offer namely; English, Shona, Maths, Combined Science, History, Geography, Computer Science, Accounts, Physical Education and Food Tech and Design. The school also offers games like Soccer, Netball, Volleyball, Handball and indoor games like Chase, Drama, Public Speaking, Music and Quiz.

Learners who will enroll for form 3 class will have Pure Sciences, Commercials and Arts Subjects on offer as well.
