Chiredzi based police officer only identified as Constable Nota took his own life and set his house ablaze.
Sources informed The Midweek Watch that before setting the house on fire, Nota locked all doors, ensuring the flames consumed everything inside.
The house was reduced to ashes, and his remains were later recovered from the scene.
The cause of Nota’s actions remain unknown, leaving many in shock and grief.
