Veteran football commentator Charles CNN Mabika is set to grace the dinner of one of the most supported soccer teams in the country, Masvingo Utd FC.
The Masvingo Utd aka Una Una or the Busmen dinner at Flamboyant Hotel will also be used to unveil the new executive that was elected recently.
The glitz dinner event is scheduled for April 4, 2025 is themed “Unleash Greatness,” promises to be an exciting evening.
Omen Mafa, Una Una secretary general, said the new executive is committed to restoring the team’s former glory.
“We have a team of dedicated and passionate individuals who are committed to bringing Masvingo United back to the premier league after a decade and three years,” Mafa said.
Mafa called on fans, both locally and in the diaspora, to support the team by buying a table at the dinner event.
“We urge all our fans, including those in the diaspora, to come and support us on this special night. Your support will be a huge motivation to the team, and your contributions will go a long way in helping us achieve our goal,” he added.
The dinner event promises to be an unforgettable evening, with gourmet dining, dynamic networking, fundraising initiatives, and an exciting raffle. Tickets for the event are available at various prices, ranging from $50 per head, a table of 6 costing $300, table of 5 costing $250 and a table of 10 costing $490 to $1000 for a table of 10.
Mafa expressed his optimism about the event.
“We believe that with the support of our fans, corporate world and the diaspora, we can achieve greatness and bring Masvingo United back to where it belongs – the premier league,” said Mafa.
The event is scheduled to take place on April 4, 2025, from 6 pm to 9:30 pm at the Flamboyant Hotel. Tickets can be picked up at 11 Shuvai Mahofa Street formerly Hellet Street, Masvingo.
