SEPA launch appluded

The South Eastern region is abuzz with excitement as the South Eastern Pool Association (SEPA) was officially launched.

The new association is led by a team of experienced individuals, including Mr. T. Kazingizi (Acting Chairman), E. Makonese (Acting Vice Chairman), Mr. Runesu (Acting Secretary General), T. Mukomwe (Technical Director), and Peter Dhliwayo (Treasurer).

The launch was attended by 22 club members, demonstrating the enthusiasm and support for the new association. SEPA was formed in response to the mismanagement of funds by the previous leadership of the LPA, which led to its ban from MAPA and ZIPA.

_The new association promises to bring a fresh start and exciting changes to the pool scene in the region. SEPA has already introduced new playing strategies and promotional initiatives, backed by respected professionals and elders in the sport, including D. Chivanga and T. Mupfeka._

With 75% of club members already on board, the focus now shifts to the remaining 15% who are still affiliated with the old LPA structure. They will need to decide whether to continue playing local tournaments or join SEPA and expand their talents by affiliating with MAPA and ZIPA.**

_Mr. Kazingizi has extended an invitation to all who wish to join SEPA before the upcoming gala launch. This development marks a significant milestone in the region’s pool history, and fans are eagerly anticipating the exciting times ahead.”
