ZVISHAVANE – Tafadzwa Sibanda (13) from Madhobhi Village under Chief Masunda, is appealing for wheelchair as the one he is currently using is old and worn out.

Tafadzwa, who is very ambitious and intelligent lives with his grandmother, Maritina Sibanda and cannot walk on his own and he uses a wheelchair for movement.

He confirmed to The Midweek Watch that his current wheelchair is old, worn out, and making it difficult for him to move around.

“Tafadzwa’s wheelchair is no longer suitable, he needs a new one that will allow him to move around easily. We are struggling to make ends meet, and we cannot afford to buy him a new wheelchair on our own, therefore we are appealing to well-wishers to help us,” she said.

Tafadzwa, a Grade 7 student at Madhobhi Primary School, is a bright and ambitious young boy who dreams of becoming a doctor.

“I want to be a doctor so that I can help others who are struggling like me, but it is hard to focus on my studies when I am struggling to move around. A new wheelchair would make a huge difference in my life,” he said.

Despite his physical challenges, Tafadzwa remains optimistic and determined to achieve his goals.

Well-wishers can contact Zvishavane Residents and Ratepayers Association Chairman Kamino Simango on +263 71 477 8104.
