Calling It A Day

Date:

Forty – three years!
Towering and towing
Carrying the hefty wagons
Murmurings right in my ears
Emboding the jargons,

Forty-three years!
Petrified by excrutiating environments
Captained and cautioned!
Those trained and appointed
Serving varied governments
Had a duty to the appointed!

Forty-three years
Three sixty five after three six five!
Of spirited hard work!
Sometime marvelled
Captains of industry required more!
Power is milk!

Fourty-three years!
Constructed and re-constructed!
I had a duty to perform
I had no excuse for failing!
The amount kept me reducing!

Fourty-three years!
Turning and twisting!
Numbers increased, production decreased?
Noone checked fizzling
Like a ravaged bus,

Fourty-three years!
Down the line
St Luke remained a pillar
No other healer
Pursued by the speed of acquiring

Fourty-three years!
Earnestly and consciously,
Served and saved
It was gracious and diabolic
Thank God, I survived!
