Zvish teen seeks sponsorship for Korea Taekwondo Grand Prix

ZVISHAVANE- Nathanael Brown, a talented young taekwondo athlete from Zvishavane in the Midlands province is gearing up to represent the country at the prestigious Muju Taekwondo Grand Prix in South Korea.

With determination and passion driving his journey, Nathanael is now seeking sponsorship to make his dream a reality.

His qualification marks a proud milestone for both Zvishavane district, the Midlands province and the country at large.

Family spokesperson, Placidia Brown said they are appealing to well-wishers and potential sponsors to lend their support, emphasizing the need to make sure that Nathanael is ready to conquer the world.

“We are appealing for assistance to ensure that the young boy is fully equipped for the milestone event.

“We need about $500 to buy his uniform and protective gear,” she said.

She said Nathanael is scheduled to leave for South Korea on August 24, 2025.

“This is his first time to participate in the Grand Prix. However, he has fought other international fights. He is a gold medalist, silver medalist and bronze medalist,” she said.
