The ZRP has issued a stern warning to instigators, inciters, and criminal elements planning to unleash violence and malicious damage to property.

Firebrand opposition leader Amos Chibaya.

According to the press statement by ZRP National Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi, those identified include opposition figures Jacob Ngarivhume and Amos Chibaya.

“The police and other security agencies are on high alert and will take decisive action against anyone attempting to disturb the country’s peaceful environment.

“The public is urged to report any criminal activities or instances of incitement, threats, or intimidation.

“The police have made it clear that they will enforce the law without fear or favor, ensuring that those responsible for violence and destruction face the consequences of their actions,” said Nyathi.

One of the few opposition leaders left in the country, Jacob Ngaruvhume.

The warning follows an address by former Zanu Central Committee member and fierce President Mnangagwa critic, Blessed Bombshell Geza’s threats last Saturday where he promised to shut down the country to force the President to step down.
