The celebration not only recognized the achievements of women in the ZRP but also provided an opportunity for the police force to give back to the community.
As part of the commemoration, the ZRP Masvingo camp clinic, led by Officer-in-Charge Patience Garira, and the Bikita camp clinic, led by Inspector Mildred Poresai Rwambiwa, offered health counselling services to tourists visiting the Great Zimbabwe Monuments.

The IWD celebration serves as a reminder of the progress made towards achieving gender equality and the work that still needs to be done to ensure that women and girls have equal opportunities and rights.
The ZRP Masvingo Province Women’s Network’s efforts to promote women’s empowerment and provide essential services to the community are commendable and align with the global theme of IWD.
