Dear Editor
It appears the general populace has given up hope for nay positive change in the country’s body politic.
The way academics and opposition politicians are so concerned about the factional fights in the ruling Zanu PF is shocking.
It all goes to show that change may not come anytime soon in the country as people are so obsessed with Zanu PF and expect VP Chiwenga or Tagwireyi to take over or President Mnangagwa to continue at the helm until donkeys grow horns.
Whatever narration the truth of the matter is whoever takes over in Zanu PF nothing will change.
History will simply repeat itself.
Remember, 2014 when Mai Mujuru was demonized and haunted from the VP’s position by Mnangagwa and Grace Mugabe.
The two allies later in 2017 turned against each other.
In 2017 Chiwenga and Mnangagwa ganged up against Mugabe, but now they are allegedly on each other’s throat, or whatever it is.
Whether the factional fights are fiction or real, whoever takes over will perpetuate Zanu PF policies.
I believe there are misplaced hope in Zanu PF leadership change, makudo ndomamwe.
Yours faithfully
Aspiring Chiganda
