ZBFH establishes unique Gweru service centre

GWERU-In an effort  to spur growth and quality service for it’s clientele, ZB Financial Holdings (ZBFH) has opened a state of the art one stop service centre in Gweru.

The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange listed financial giant’s new look digitalized centre will see operations of ZB Bank, ZB Life Insurance, ZB Building Society, ZB Life Capital and ZB Transfer Secretaries  integrated into a one-stop shop to enhance customer service and convenience.

Most significantly, the remodeled centre has area for specialized services like mining, agriculture , education sector, lease hire, overdrafts, business loans, purchase or disposal of shares, insurance cover as well as microfinance to cater for small businesses’ needs.

The refurbishment are on going country wide with 36 service centres out of 45 already commissioned.

Addressing business stakeholders in Gweru on Saturday, ZBFH group chief executive officer, Shepherd Fungura  said the rebranding exercise has transformed the organization to deliver , add value and create an enabling environment for customers as they will access all services under one roof.

He said the  new  sales and customer service centres will be replicated  on the myZB mobile app, online and virtually (IVSC) to allow clients to interact with the financial institution at the comfort of their homes.

Fungura said for the past 15 months, ZBFH worked hard to become a leading financial provider.

“This is similar to the transformation journey that we have embarked on for the last 15 months. We looked at ourselves and thought we could do better, and so we have been working hard to improve how we do business, our technology, our systems, and how we conduct ourselves with the aim of becoming the leading financial services firm of choice, committed to delivering happiness to you our customers, employees and various stakeholders,” he said.

He said the transformation journey was possible due to the clientele feedback.

He added that ZBFH envision to ensure economic success in Gweru.

“As ZB we recognize the investment and growth opportunities in Gweru and the Midlands region arising from the fact that it is the mineral hub of the country with significant mining and agricultural activity. We see the vibrant education sector and the  downstream value chain arising from these key sub- sectors of the economy. We have financial service solutions for that.

He paid tribute to the government’s economic blueprint, National Development Strategy 1  (NDS1) that emphasizes on production in agriculture, mining, manufacturing, infrastructural development and tourism among other key sectors.

Meanwhile, Midlands Provincial  Affairs and Devolution Minister, Larry Mavhima commended ZBFH for rebranding to a more modern, friendly and people oriented financial services for customer experience.

He said the group’s vision  will deliver broad based transformation, new wealth creation and expanding horizons of economic opportunities for all Zimbabweans.

Mavhima added that  “there are vast opportunities for trade and investment and  need stakeholders such as ZB Financial Holdings to exploit them. We are ready to engage with you and benefit from what you have to offer. I challenge the ZB team to talk to us and find out what we need and give us the financial solutions that we want”.
