Zanu PF rolls out victory celebrations

MASVINGOZanu PF has rolled out victory celebrations in the 24 constituencies that they won in Masvingo Province.

This was confirmed by the party’s provincial spokesperson, Pepukai Chiwewe in a n interview with The Midweek Watch on Monday this week.

Chiwewe said that President Mnangagwa officially launched the celebrations in Gweru at the annual conference and they were now doing them at provincial and ward level.

He added that the President will hold celebrations rallies across the country on dates to be advised.

“Thank you and victory celebrations were officially started in Gweru in the last held conference and we are now waiting for the date when the President Emmerson Mnangagwa will do rounds across the country on dates to be advised”, said Chiwewe.

“We are not holding back anyone who want to hold their celebrations, if they have their own resources they are free to do so while we wait for the president,” said Chiwewe.

The first celebrations in Masvingo province were done in Ward 31 in Masvingo South where Councillor Makatanure won the seat with over 1000 votes against Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).

Masvingo South is one of the constituencies that were won by Zanu PF in August harmonised elections.

The program was graced by Minister for Provincial Affairs and Devolution who is also a Central Committee member, Ezra Chadzamira, Zanu PF Masvingo Province Chairman, Rabson Mavhenyengwa, Vice Chairman Trust Mugabe, Provincial Commissar Brian Munyoro, MP Auxillia Dhanzi, Women’s League and District Coordinating Committee executive members amongst others.
