MASVINGO – The ruling Zanu PF took the lion’s share of proportional representation members at all levels in Masvingo Province after garnering more votes and seats in the just ended harmonised elections.
Those elected on proportional representation are from the Senate, Provincial Council, Youth Quota and Women’s Quota according to the Constitution.
The following were been duly elected Masvingo Provincial Council Members: Bertha Chikwama (Zanu PF), Ephraim Gwanongodza(Zanu PF), Vairet Munodzana(Zanu PF), Muzondo Trust Mugabe(Zanu PF), Sara Mandiki(Zanu PF), Brian Munyoro(Zanu PF), Mavis Demba(Zanu PF), Vimbai Mavherudze(CCC), Wadzai Tinofirei(CCC) and Elizabeth Mahachi(CCC).
Masvingo Senate members who were elected are Maluleke Ottilia Muhlava(Zanu PF), Lovemore Matuke(Zanu PF), Annah Rungani(Zanu PF), Rabson Mavhenyengwa(Zanu PF), Magie Chakabuda(CCC) and Madzikanda Godfrey Mativenga(CCC).
National Assembly Women’s Quota Members who were duly elected are Yeukai Simbanegavi(Zanu PF), Aliginia Samson(Zanu PF), Auxcilia Dhanzi(Zanu PF), Faith Makaza(Zanu PF), Machirairwa Mugidho(CCC) and Tendeukai Matara(CCC).
Naledi Maunganidze of Zanu PF was elected under the Youth Quota system.
