-advises businesspeople not to keep money at home

MASVINGO-In a rare confession by the infamous armed robber and suspected cops murderer, Daniel Munyanyi (pictured) told his victims that their fortunes will turn for the better after he had robbed them as he possesses good luck.

While awaiting for his turn to appear in court today (10/3/26), Munyanyi who appeared unfazed by the tens of crimes he committed across Masvingo Province he told the businesspeople who had gathered around him in the foyer that they should count themselves luck as from henceforth they will enjoy good sales.
Munyanyi who appeared at home in prison regalia pleaded with complainants for forgiveness and claimed that he committed the crimes under the influence of evil forces.
He also warned members of the public particularly business people not to keep large sums of money in their homes and urged them to be cautious about people around them, including domestic workers, company employees whom he suggested could sometimes provide information to criminals.
“Do not keep money at home as that will tempt robbers, I also advise you not to trust anyone at your home be it domestic workers or employees, they are the ones who supply confidential information to robbers, so be careful with whom you trust,” said Munyanyi as his victims appeared shocked including Masvingo urban ward 7 councillor Richard Musekiwa.
Meanwhile, Munyanyi was slapped with 77 years in jail in addition to the 72 that he received last week for armed robbery by Regional Magistrate Innocent Bepura.
Munyanyi, today was facing 19 counts of armed robbery including attempted murder which he pleaded guilty to.
