The Womentorship Journalism Fellowship 2025 Bulawayo Cohort is set to take place from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 September 2025 at Brooke Boutique Hotel Selbourne in Bulawayo.
The three day event is aimed at empowering young female journalists through intensive training, mentorship and networking with seasoned media professionals.
The fellowship which is being sponsored by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation continues to support media freedom, gender equality and professional development within Zimbabwe’s media landscape.
Participants drawn from Masvingo, Beitbridge, Gweru, Shurugwi and Bulawayo are expected to benefit from practical sessions covering various areas of journalism including investigative reporting, ethics, media law, digital storytelling and newsroom leadership.
This marks yet another milestone in the push for greater female representation and leadership in newsrooms across Zimbabwe.
