MIDLANDS – ZIFA Midlands Province Division 2A log leaders Whawha FC dropped two crucial points after being held to a one all draw by Black Eagles FC on Matchday 8.

The result allowed Black Eagles to narrow the gap to only a single point, as Whawha lead with 19 points and the black boots side on 18 with eight games played.
The Buchwa based side is the only unbeaten side as yet and they seek to return to D1 as quickly as they can.
Other matches saw Mbesa FC falling 1-0 to King Lion FC and Great Dyke FC shrugged off Bethel 2-0.
Sabi Gold Mine FC continued their rejuvenation with a 2-0 win over All Stars Somabula.
Meanwhile, Pams FC registered their first win of the season after beating Siwawa FC by a solitary goal.
