MIDLANDS – Sheasham FC aka Construction Boys’ title challenge hit a stumbling block after suffering a shock 1-0 loss at the hands of West Nicholson FC.
The loss gives Hardrock FC an edge for PSL promotion with two games to play as the Kwekwe based side now leads the log with four points after seeing off Chapungu by a solitary goal.
Since the start of the season the league has been a two horse race between Sheasham and Hardrock due to their financial stability. Sheasham seemed to have lost an edge after it pulled out of the league after complaining of unfairness and poor match officiating.
The move seems to be haunting them as the title is now slipping away.
However, they have two games to salvage the situation otherwise they will have to wait for another season.
Sheasham has a home date with Dinson Mvuma FC and an away trip to Shabanie Mine FC whilst Hardrock FC faces MSU FC at home before signing off the season at Dulibadzimu United.
