You have been the face of public health in Masvingo and the ZRP Zimuto Camp Clinic will never be the same without your ever smiling face as go into retirement.
In both the Police and Private practice, Dr Zimbwa was just something else to work with, a shining beacon.
I worked under him for a good 13 years and he made me, under his wise leadership and mentorship a beast in matters of public health-environmental health to be more specific.
He was different from his fellow colleagues both in the Zimbabwe Republic Police and medical practice. He has an ear for his subordinates. What a great team builder!
Doctor Zimbwa served the Masvingo Province communities pretty well. He attended to serving members of the Police and their dependents as well as a pensioners and surrounding communities.
In times of need you would see him doing what he knows best at the Masvingo Provincial Hospital. He attended communities in the vicinity of Police Camp Clinics. He attended medico legal duties and forensic work which involved examining sexually assaulted victims, physical violence victims and performing postmortems on murder cases which would take him to the High Court, as a state witness something feared by most people, the educated included.
Congratulations on your retirement from the ZRP we will ever meet you at our usual rendezvous, Room 7.
Dr, just a whisper; Masvingo Health Services is clamouring for a leader like you. Farming, of course yes but, we are yearning for a leader like you.
Experienced.

Client-centred.
Always joking with clients and socialites. By the way, great historian and well versed in international relations issues. My mentor!
