Masvingo–In a powerful display of unity and faith, Reverend Sithandazile Mhlanga the wife to Reverend Ntobeko Mhlanga of Glory Temple Ministries, hosted the WARROOM GLORY NIGHT PRAYER at Mamutse Stadium on Saturday night, drawing together a community longing for spiritual revival.

This all-night prayer was more than just a gathering; it was a heartfelt call for divine intervention in a city plagued by stagnation and social challenges.

Masvingo, strategically positioned as a connector between major cities yet stagnant for years, struggles with severe economic limitations. Despite housing five universities, the city lacks industry, leaving many graduates facing an uncertain future. The skyline remains unscathed, with only two traffic lights breaking the monotony of a city yearning for transformation. Churches, too, seem to mirror this stagnation; attendance at local congregations rarely surpasses 500, often succumbing to internal conflicts or scandals, as highlighted by Reverend Mhlanga.

“As a pastor who lost her first born son in a mysterious way in this City and at a point faced marital challenges to the point of wanting to quit, I refuse to remain silent about the sufferings in this city,” she proclaimed to the gathering.

“Tonight, we are engaging in spiritual warfare to break the siege that has long hovered over Masvingo, affecting our families and communities.”

The event brought together prominent figures in the nation’s spiritual landscape, including Bishop Dr. Colin Nyathi, known as the architect of revival in Bulawayo; Prophetess Memory Matimbire, the “Lioness of Prayer”; Bishop Charles Josiya, a father figure in Masvingo; and Apostle Evans Bangira. Reverend Mhlanga’s husband, Apostle Ntobeko Mhlanga, joined her in this monumental effort, marking over 18 years of ministry work in Masvingo.

Over 4 000 worshipers filled Mamutse stadium, igniting a fervent atmosphere of prayer and worship, as they interceded for families, community prosperity, and church revitalization. The collective cry for divine intervention was palpable, resonating with a community desperate for change.

“The challenges in Masvingo are not beyond God’s ability to transform,” Reverend Mhlanga asserted, reminding attendees of the power of prayer and unity in overcoming systemic struggles. The night closed with a sense of hope, spurring renewed commitment among local believers to address the issues facing their community through faith and action.

As Masvingo faces its trials, the WARROOM GLORY NIGHT PRAYER serves as a reminder that collective faith can inspire change, paving the way for new beginnings and opportunities in a city that has long awaited its rebirth. The road ahead may be long, but with unity and unwavering faith, many believe that Masvingo is on the brink of awakening.
