Mvuma-One person was killed while three others escaped with injuries in an accident which occurred on 29 April 2023 along Harare-Masvingo Road at around 9am.
Midlands Province ZRP community liaison and public relations officer, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the accident.
” The injured passengers are admitted in a stable condition at Mvuma District Hospital.
“We urge members of the public to observe rules and regulations of the road and desist from travelling at night whenever there is an option to travel by day,” he added.
Aluwis Zengeni (35) of Ramunga Village under Chief Hama was driving a Honda Fit along Harare-Masvingo Road with three passengers on board.
Upon reaching the 213km peg, near Chinwavaenzi, it is alleged he lost control and the vehicle veered off the road and plunged underneath the bridge.
