As we commemorate the great and illustrate life of Dr Love Paul Matavire, it’s important for Masvingo citizens to think about establishing or turning Reformed Church Capota School for the Blind into a full-fledged University for the Special Needs.
Politicians, businesspersons and various sector leaders from Masvingo and nationally must think over this important issue. Paul Matavire immensely contributed to the music and Shona vocabulary. As a disabled person no other person has surpassed Paul Matavire.
Paul Matavire University will inspire a lot of disabled persons in the region. The Copota school for the blind can be a great starting point.
The Murray Hugo School for the Deaf and Dumb at Morgenster Mission under Reformed Church in Zimbabwe will add valuable experience in setting up the Paul Matavire University For The Special Needs.
Paul Matavire hailed from Mwenezi District in Masvingo. He defied all odds and become one of the musical gurus in Zimbabwe.
