African states are in safe hands than the way America is being governed today by the duo of Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

The way both presidents of America are calling shots are weird. Laws are crafted and dictated on social media platforms. Julius Malema, President of the Economic Freedom Front (EFF) of South Africa is on the receiving end after questioning and challenging the would be presence of Starlink in South Africa.
The man whose umbilical cord is in South Africa, Musk, declared Malema , persona non grata in the western hemisphere. Musk is the director of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency ( DOGE); whose mandate is to reduce wasteful expenditures in government departments of the U.S.
He recently declared the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) a criminal organization, banning Radio Free Europe and Radio Freedom as useless propaganda channels, whose last seen was 1945. On these moves, let’s clap for hands for Musk & Associates here. “Reporting from Washington, District of Columbia (DC)” is now gone. Good move to unite Africans.
Although Trump was supposed to exercise caution in quickly cutting health care aid and stopping funding the World Health Organization (WHO). This caused jitters across the world. The process must be carried in a manner that is human not that abrupt end diktated like, by someone high on fentanyl. Africa is the continent in a sorry state, it is used to free handouts. And we cannot say “no.” Our leaders have short memories, they think the slave masters owe us something because of our slavery inclinations. Times are moving and we are still stuck in the 18th century.
Portuguese traders had come and gone, British traders had come and gone, French crusaders had come and gone, German traders had come and gone, Belgian traders had come and gone, Spanish traders had come and gone, and Italian traders had come and gone.
Now our Chinese friends are coming and very soon, they will be gone.
And Africa is now running backwards, but we are expected to run forward. And now we wonder why Trump and Musk have an upper hand. A continent run by day dreamers. Keep on dreaming and they won’t stop looting Africa.
The dou of Musk & Trump reminds me of Cecil John Rhodes; here was a man who was proud of his British ancestry and dominance. A guy who always said “How lucky we are, to be born British.” I also say “How unfortunate, l am, to be born African?” Don’t rush to blame our African leaders, let’s blame ourselves.
We have the leaders we deserve… full stop.
‘Don’t come to my inbox for further explanation’. A continent which is radar less. Non conformity on anything. The African Union, l don’t know whose interests it serves. “Theirs or ours?” Its headquarters in Ethiopia, a citadel of African freedom. So what stops it from making tangible results? It’s not the Westerners, it is the leaders themselves.
Let me avoid retrogression. Rhodes was a British imperialist, politician and businessman, like Musk. Rhodes believed in the expansion of the British Empire, like Trump, he plans to annex Gaza, Greenland and Canada. Rhodes wanted to build a railway line from Cape to Cairo, not for safe and cheap travelling by Africans, but for exploiting African resources. He was also the Prime Minister of the Cape Colony. Musk “Pfeeee,” mixing politics and business. Rhodesia’s name ( now Zimbabwe) was derived from Rhodes, who played a major role in its occupation. All developments he made were primarily to serve his interests and the British monarchy. From road and rail networks, constructions were fast tracked to siphon out resources to Her/His Majesty. Segregation was part of the colonial system.
Although historians give credit to the authoritarian rule in modern day Africa, to their former colonizers’ governance system; l beg to differ. African leaders, you are letting the continent down big time. I only agree on one segment of the “legacy of conflict” perpetuated by the colonial system. “The inequalities and tensions created during the colonial era, are contributing to ongoing social and political conflicts and shortcomings in Africa today.”
Yes, from the bush wars, our leaders copied and pasted the white men’s legacy of “Conquer with Love, our time to eat theory.” Inequalities and segregation in Africa are major sources of conflicts from the Central African Republic ( CAR) Sudans, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC ). These conflicts make the two rabid businessmen in the White House salivate for a kill. Who to blame? Blind statesmanships behind the African continent. If you notice big guys like Trump and Musk barking daily at South Africa; what do you think? Recolonization and subjugation of the continent again. Its land and Starlink their major grievances against South Africa.
Trump is moving openly and he doesn’t hesitate to use the economic warfare to his advantage; tariffs are his ace card. Ask the Colombian President he tried to play hard ball by denying immigrants landing rights to his country. And was threatened with 50% tariffs against all his country’s exports. By the end of the day, he was singing “Kutonga Kwaro Gamba.” He rushed to the airport and took control of the traffic tower, permitting the aeroplane to hangar and to fully pay its maintenance bills and perks for its crew. Halala, come Trump. He has the midas touch.
On his second term, Trump and Musk are simply using their financial muscles. Cunning and crude Wall Street tactics are employed by the duo.
Hate them or like them. But l love Trump, he possesses an open mind like Richard Milhous Nixon. They are not pretenders but actors.
So Comrade Trump, just give Africa some leverage to pull itself from its self inflicted comatose. You have removed criminals surrounding the world, like the USAID, International Criminal Court of Justice, RFL, RF and lemme think the next criminals… Okay will ask Chat GP for further blacklisting of candidates. Make the world a better place Comrades.
Chill Out. Meet me at Trump Towers.
