MASVINGO-The Titanium Motorcycle Club (TMC) is set to host the 10th Great Zimbabwe Rally from the 26th to the 29th of March 2026.

The Great Zimbabwe Rally brings together local, regional and international bikers for a celebration of sport, tourism and charity.
Founded in 2016 by Pumulani Ncube who now serves on the club’s Elders Council, TMC has grown into a strong biking fraternity.
In Masvingo Province, the club is represented by Sylvester Chikondo, the Masvingo Chapter general secretary.

The Masvingo Chapter has 52 bikers and enthusiasts. This year’s rally is expected to attract bikers from across southern Africa, including South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Mozambique and Angola as well as participants from the United Kingdom and various local biking clubs.
Sylvester Chikondo said the rally seeks to promote biking as a safe sport while advancing tourism and charity initiatives in Masvingo.
“The Great Zimbabwe Rally is not just about bikes. It is about promoting biking as a safe sport, strengthening unity among bikers and supporting vulnerable members of our community,” said Chikondo.

“We are expecting regional and international bikers from countries such as South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Mozambique, Angola and the United Kingdom, together with numerous local biking clubs.”
The guest of honour, Masvingo Province Minister of State Ezra Chadzamira is expected to officiate at the handover of donations to vulnerable groups at Alpha Cottages on the 27th of March 2026.
Chikondo said the club sources donations ahead of the event.
“As TMC, we go out and source donations prior to the event. We will be handing over groceries, sanitary products and blankets to Alpha Cottages and Mucheke Old People’s Home as part of our charity work,” he said.
Following the donation ceremony, bikers will tour local tourist attractions such as Great Zimbabwe and sites around Lake Mutirikwi to promote domestic tourism.
On the 28th of March, a street carnival will be held at Masvingo Airport featuring motorbike games including slow rides, coin balance, loudest bike, dress-up competitions and for the first time, drag racing. The event will also feature music, food and dance with San Siro Sports and Grill hosting the main event and after-party.

“This year’s rally promises to be bigger and more exciting, with games, entertainment and activities that promote responsible biking while showcasing the beauty of Masvingo,” Chikondo concluded.
