As a nationalist l am also very proud of Africa. I dream one day that what we have witnessed taking shape in China and the Middle East will visit our continent. I mean economic prosperity the two worlds are now enjoying.
Some critics may argue that economic prosperity without freedom of speech and association is void; as the western ideologies dictate. But watching what is happening in Abu Dhabi, and Beijing and comparing to Bujumbura and Harare as case studies. The latter are still in the dark ages, economically, and technologically. The African continent still rely on western apparatus for communication. It failed to invent its Silicon Valley or Huawei type of invention anywhere in the continent.

On 22 May 2025, the South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa and his entourage visited the White House. It was not a planned visit, as per schedule but a rushed one. This was necessitated by public outbursts by President Donald Trump, posted on his X account accusing the African National Congress of systematically killing its New Zealander brothers and sisters.
He called it an “ethnic cleansing” of a minority group like the Kurds in Iraq or Turkey. Watching Ramaphosa roasted live on cable news network, left me powerless. For how long should African leaders continue to seek succour from the western hemisphere? And what sin did the continent commit to accept this kind of treatment as the norm?
Ramaphosa was the second president of a sovereign country to be humiliated in a similar fashion, after Zelensky of Ukraine barely two months apart. And who is the next president to be officially or by default summoned to the white house? From my understanding all African presidents by now understand what Trump needs: ‘a free range access to rare earth minerals.’
Now the demonisation through X of the African countries is on hold. I am thinking loudly that the “Don” had got what he wanted through fear of the unknown; against clever African presidents who want to play poker with Russia and China. The Don reminds me of Heinrich Himmler and Joseph Goebbels, who continued on their journey of destruction by promising the German people that victory was certain.
Poor Ramaphosa after facing a stiff competition on elections last year by opposition parties that dangled expropriation of land and dishing out xenophobic paraphernalia to the electorate as their manifestos. The African National Congress to remain relevant in the race also copied and pasted the same manifesto. This was easily seen by the effectiveness of “Operation Dudula” ‘s art of war.

This was also worsened by South Africa’s allies in BRICS, namely Brazil, Russia, India and China. And now some so called rogue nations like Iran are joining the alliance in droves. Mr Trump doesn’t like such strong alliances that is capable of usurping the United States’ economic and political stronghold.
So Trump has to make sure that South Africa will go the Zimbabwe way if it continues to dine with the axis of evil. Ramaphosa sensing the fury of Trump, had to somersault and start speaking fluent American english to appease him. “Give him all rare earth minerals, as he may deem necessary and the man will stop nagging you.” Finish and klaar.
The flighting of “Shoot the Boer” by his vice Vance during their meeting was uncalled for and very amateurish. African Americans are killed daily by the police and no single African president has asked any American leader to explain this “ethnic cleansing of a minority.”
Ethnic cleansing was exercised in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Vietnam, Cambodia, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and silent ones in all countries sanctioned by the United States, under the pretext of failing to meet democratic principles or theories, set by it. Now tariffs against the world are uncalled for and offers another recipe of ” ethnic cleansing” towards developing nations.
This is open and obvious aggression to weak nations to aggravate the damage the Bretton Woods failed to fast track. And Julius Malema and Jacob Zuma in their campaign trails sang that song to please the electorate, and is not a justification to offer those 47 Afrikaners asylum in the US. And also using it as a prima facie case of ethnic cleansing against the South African government is not one of the tenets of international relations.
‘Sweat, Tears and Blood ‘ is a song sang by the late Nigerian maestro Fela ‘Anikulapo Ransom’ Kuti. All his songs are rebellious by nature, radical and revolutionary. You can even enjoy listening to ” Teacher don’t teach me nonsense” also by him. The guy was overloaded by emotions of racial prejudice against the meek. Still now the western leaders want to teach their peers in Africa how to tie the tie, to eat with dignity and wear a suit like all gentlemen in the West.
“Old Major cleared his throat and began to sing. As he had said, his voice was hoarse, but he sang well enough, and it was a stirring tune, something between Clementine and La Cucaracha.
The words ran:
Beasts of England, beasts of Ireland, Beasts of every land and clime, Hearken to my
joyful tidings Of the golden future time. Soon or late the day is coming,
Tyrant Man shall be o’erthrown,
And the fruitful fields of England Shall be trod by beasts alone. Rings shall vanish from our noses, And the harness from our back,
Bit and spur shall rust forever, Cruel whips no more shall crack.
Riches more than mind can picture, Wheat and barley, oats and hay, Clover, beans, and
mangel-wurzels Shall be ours upon that day.
Bright will shine the fields of England, Purer shall its waters be, Sweeter yet shall blow its breezes On the day that sets us free. For that day we all must labour, Though we die before it break;
For cows and horses, geese and turkeys, all must toil for freedom’s sake. Beasts of England, beasts of Ireland, Beasts of every land and clime, Hearken well and spread my tidings Of the golden future time.” (George Orwell – Animal Farm 1945).
This must be Africa’s war cry. It was written by a British gentleman way back in 1945. Look how it suits to Africa’s modern day predicament, from the Slave Trade to the current Ideological manipulation by the Aryan race. I am not a hater or ‘disliker’ of the white race but l hate black prejudice by any race.
