MASVINGO CITY-With three games remaining in the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League, Masvingo United FC spokesperson Omen Mafa says the team remains focused and determined to finish strong.
“Our resolution is simple we want to win all the remaining games. We’re not concerned with results from other fixtures. We have to fight our own battles and we do not rely on any foreign aide,” said Mafa.
Commenting on next weekend clash against FC Hunters at Rudhaka Stadium, he played down the ‘giants’ tag.
“They are a big team, yes but not necessarily giants. We respect Hunters FC just like we respect every club in our league. To us, it’s a game like any other. We don’t see it as a deciding game.”
Mafa added, “We still have Manica Juniors and Tenax FC after this and you saw what happened at Maramba Stadium over the weekend, anything is possible in football. So this match is important yes but just like all the others. Our goal remains the same: we want the three points at the end of the day.”
With the title race on a knife’s edge and only three matches left, Masvingo United FC knows that consistency and composure will be key.
As the battle for promotion intensifies, all eyes will be on their showdown with FC Hunters, a clash that could shape the destiny of the 2025 Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League.
