Talos Trading Pvt Ltd, a rising company, has entered into partnership with Feedmix Zimbabwe to become the distributor for the stock feed manufacturer at Gutu Mupandawana Town.

Speaking about this milestone achievement, Talos Trading managing director, Sophia Mafaune said farmers in Gutu district will now have easy and reliable access to quality stock feed right at their door steps.

“On behalf of Talos Trading, I am pleased to announce our new partnership with Feedmix Zimbabwe, a leading stock feed manufacturer. This is a great milestone for Gutu district,” said the official.

“Through this partnership, our farmers will now have easy and reliable access to quality stock feed right here at home. This will improve livestock health, boost milk and meat production, and in turn increase household incomes,” he added.

Mafaune said gone are the days when farmers in Gutu district used to travel as far as Masvingo City to purchase stock feed.

“Most importantly, the partnership we have entered into with Feedmix reduces the burden of travelling long distances for feed and helps build a stronger, more sustainable farming community in Gutu.

“Together with Feedmix, we are not just bringing stock feed, we are bringing growth, opportunity, and hope to our farmers,” she said.

Talos Trading’s staff is well trained and handle customers in a friendly and professional way.

They also value feedback from customers as a way of improving relations and maintaining good working rapport.

Meanwhile, plans are in the pipeline to hold a roadshow at Gutu Mupandawana Growth Point to celebrate the milestone achievement.

“Plans are in the pipeline to have a roadshow at Gutu Mupandawana Growth Point as a way to celebrate the partnership we have entered into with Feedmix Zimbabwe. There will be entertainment galore at the event where some residents will walk away with prizes,” said Mafaune.

Talos Trading was established in 2019 as the brainchild of Sophia Mafaune, a former teacher who is now based in South Africa. Inspired by her passion for agriculture and her desire to invest back home, Mafaune founded the company to contribute to food security, job creation, and rural development.

They have a farm which focuses on poultry production (chickens), cattle breeding, and horticulture.

The company has grown into a reliable supplier of farm produce, serving communities and markets around Gweru, Mvuma, and Gutu.
