MASVINGO-Talented upcoming journalist who graduated from the University of Zimbabwe a few years ago, Constantine Chagonda has died.

He was 28.
Roman Catholic priest Rev Father Urayai Chagonda confirmed the sad news to The Midweek Watch in a telephone interview.
“Yes, we have lost Constantine, he died in his apartment in Bulawayo last night. Currently the cause of death has not been established but a postmortem exercise will be done tomorrow in Bulawayo.
“Burial arrangements will be announced thereafter,” he said.
Constantine who was now working as a consultant for a Bulawayo firm did his attachment at The Mirror a few years ago and was hard working and very sharp in his reporting.

Tawanda Homba, The Midweek Watch director who worked with Constantine at The Mirror said his death was big loss to the journalism fraternity as he had a promising career ahead of him.
“He was a good fellow, very hard working, disciplined, and focused, we will miss his witty jokes,” said Homba.
