Land Tenure System Implementation Committee chairperson Kudakwashe Tagwirei will headline the Land Tenure forum at Masvingo Polytechnic College on Friday.
The committee’s mandate is to steer Government’s Land Tenure Implementation Programme which was launched in 2024.
A bankable title deed programme for farmers has been introduced under the Land Tenure Programme.
Friday’s forum is set to enlighten Masvingo residents on the Land Tenure Implementation Programme which received lukewarm reception from farmers.
The public was skeptical as they regarded the programme as an attempt to claim and redistribute farms.
Minister of State for Masvingo Province Ezra Chadzamira and Minister of Information, Communication Technology Tatenda Mavetera are among speakers at the forum.
