MBERENGWA- Fireworks expected at Education Stadium in Mberengwa on Sunday as ZIFA Midlands Division 2A table toppers Black Eagles clash with new comers Great Dyke FC.
This will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs with the Buchwa based Black Boots side being the seasoned side and have the momentum going into the match having won six consecutive matches on the trot.
They are leading the table with 18 points, two points ahead of their opponents who have only lost once (1-0) to Mvuma FC but are yet to lose at home.
Great Dyke FC team manager, Ashel Gutu said this game has not come at a better time as they are facing the team of the moment which will give them a good run for their money and test of character since they joined the league this year.
“Black Eagles are a good side and it’s not a fluke that they are at the top of the log and we need to dig deeper to dislodge from the top.
“We urge our supporters to come out in their numbers to support their team as the twelfth man is desperately needed in this encounter,” he said.
