MASVINGO-Sungura kingpin Alick Macheso aka Extra Basso is set to perform at Bikita Minerals’ Lithium Bar this Friday.
Macheso’s manager Tichaona ‘Tich’ Makahamadze confirmed the development to The Midweek Watch.
He said fans should brace up for a top notch performance which he said will be 100% Orchestra Mberikwazvo as there are no supporting acts.
He said the group is happy to be performing at Bikita Minerals for the first time.
The lithium miner has become one of the largest employers in the province following its US$200m acquisition by Chinese owned Sinomine.
“We are happy to be performing at the Bikita Minerals for the first time. This will be a 100% Mberikwazvo performance and we urge our fans to come in numbers because it is going to be a show to remember,” said Makahamadze.
He added that Mberikwazvo always brings new things in the showbiz industry and they have lined up dances to be unveiled on Friday night for their ardent followers.
Bikita Minerals Public Relations Officer Collen Nikisi said the show is one of the many entertainment projects that are going to be held to fundraise for the Bikita Minerals FC which is participating in the ZIFA Eastern Region Division One League.
He added that such entertainment shows are also essential for workers to refresh after working for the whole week.
