A new, modern restaurant which specializes in traditional, contemporary and event catering recently opened its doors to residents and travelers at the Gutu junction.

VYTT Restaurant and Butchery located at 2465 Gutu Junction boasts of a traditional menu that features favorite dishes like sadza made from maize, finger millet, sorghum, and pearl millet, rice rinedovi, guinea fowl, beef stew, zvinyenze, maguru and mazondo.
The menu also features other local favorites like madora, haifiridzi, musoro wembudzi and pork bones, all served with organically grown vegetable sides.
On their contemporary menu the restaurant offers dishes like full English breakfast, crispy French fries, burgers, hotdogs, shwarma, chilli chicken livers, quarter chicken, chicken wings, grilled sausage and assorted meat platters.
Ice creams are also available for dessert.
The restaurant’s director, Nyasha Mpofu said the state-of-the-art infrastructure is aimed at bringing a taste of comfort and culture to its clients.
“Our vision is to serve the people of Gutu and travelers passing through with the best in hospitality. We have a variety of offerings, including different starches, salads, desserts, ciders, lager beers and both hot and cold beverages.
“We encourage residents and travelers to stop by and experience the unique offerings of VYTT Restaurant and Butchery,” said Mpofu.
Mpofu added that the butchery section provides high-quality beef, pork, goat meat, fresh organic eggs, live road runners, ducks, broilers, braai packs, Kariba bream, and mukaka wakakora.
VYTT Restaurant and Butchery offers more than just quality meals, it also features a charming outdoor area with wooden tables, large umbrellas, secure and plenty of parking and a dedicated braai space.
