MUTARE CITY-A BUS belonging to one of the biggest passenger transport companies in the country, Stallion Cruise ran over a man at Sakubva Terminus in Mutare City on March 1.

Stallion Cruise is owned by wealthy businessman Anthony Clever Pote based in the Midlands Province mining town of Zvishavane.
Manicaland Province police acting spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka told The Midweek Watch that the driver of the Stallion Cruise, Lordshare Mushipe (47) of Chakonda, Ascot in Gweru was reversing the bus when he ran over Elvis Madhigu (26) of McGregor’s in Sakubva.
The accident happened at around 8:30pm as the deceased was lying on the ground when the bus crushed him as it was reversing from the parking bay killing him on the spot.
Madhigu’s body was taken to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital for postmortem while Mushipe was charged with culpable homicide.
