HARARE-Catholic Diocese-run St Peter’s Kubatana High School based in Highfields Harare, has recorded outstanding results in the 2025 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) examinations.

The school’s O Level results have shown a steady upward trajectory over the years.
Pass rates improved from 33 percent in 2020 to 34 percent in 2022, rising further to 38 percent in 2023 and 47 percent in 2024.
In 2025, the school recorded a sharp increase to 64.6 percent, representing a remarkable 17.6 percent improvement from the previous year.
A total of 127 learners sat for the 2025 O Level examinations. Of these, 82 candidates passed, 47 girls and 35 boys.
In 2025, A Level performance has been equally impressive. The school recorded a pass rate of 78.2 percent in 2020 which rose to 85.1 percent in 2021, 92 percent in 2022 and 94 percent in 2023. In 2024, the pass rate stood at 98 percent before achieving a perfect 100 percent pass rate in 2025.
A total of 45 learners sat for the 2025 A Level examinations, with 24 candidates attaining more than 10 points.

Commenting on the sustained improvement in results, School Head Michael Mushati attributed the success to teamwork and strong stakeholder support.
He said the school is driven by a united and hardworking staff that complements one another, supportive parents and a highly motivated and jovial school director who inspires staff members.

St Peter’s Kubatana High School is a Catholic institution run by the Jesuits. The Director of the school is Father Ashton Mugozhi. In acknowledging the achievement, the school extends gratitude to the Director, the Headmaster, teachers and the School Development Committee (SDC), chaired by Mr Musewe for their collective contribution to the school’s academic success.
